My husband, Lesra was a volunteer for the media relations at the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues fest this year. He immediately called me to tell me to bring our daughters (age 8 & 6) to see Alexis P. Suter! Being from Brooklyn, N.Y. my husband was loving Alexis and what she brought to the festival. The highlight was the opporunity to meet Alexis in person and introduce our daughters to her. (Our oldest is named Brooklyn). What an honour and priviledge it was to share and experience your energy, Alexis. Thank you for giving us such a great memory. We carry it with us still. Our daughters are still talking about it and smiling. Thank you. We hope to see you again soon - somewhere in this wonderful world! XXOO

Every Roots & Blues festival we have attended in Salmon Arm produces, for us, a shining moment...a band that blows your mind. And this year was no exception. The Alexis P. Suter Band is a must see on anyone's list. You were our shining moment and it was truly an honour to have you at our festival. Thank you for the memories and trust that if you are anywhere in western Canada again, we will be there.

I heard you play in Kitchener, Ontario and although you may not have seen it, when you sang there was no dry eye in place. You and your band moved people to new levels of spirituality through your powerful performance. Thanks for comming and I do hope you come again.
Also thanks for allowing me to hug you and for signing my CD.

Sorry it took so long to get here. I am so proud of you!! I remember when mom gave me the house song you sang...I had to be about 19 or 20---and I was so into the clubs into NYC !! So proud to say that I am related to you! So much to catch up on and would love to send you pics of the kids as well....my youngest is 5 1/2 and does a mean imitation of Michael Jackson, and then my 8 year old does more up to date dances ---both have won local talent shows out here......my oldest is Tiara and she is 17---last year of high school--wants to attend NYU but she will stay local for awhile until she is mature enough to transfer......please keep in touch .... !!!
